Early is tied for 18th, one stroke behind O'Brien at 150 after a pair of 75s. Sophomore Daniel Levin also had a consistent day, carding 76-75 for a 151 total and a T-23rd standing.
Three players in the field are below par after 36 holes. Harrison Shih of Columbia is 2-under after firing a pair of 70s. Christopher Crawford of Drexel (70-71) and Arjuna Anday of Columbia (68-73) are both 1-under on the par-71 layout.
The third and final round gets underway on Saturday morning.
