ITHACA, N.Y. -- A bogey-free, 4-under-par 67 from Connor O'Brien in round two highlighted Bucknell's opening day at the Cornell Invitational. O'Brien is even-par through 36 holes and tied for eighth place, while the team sits in 12th after rounds of 304 and 293.

After shooting 75 in the morning, O'Brien turned in a flawless second round. He birdied the first two holes and added two more birds at 6 and 14 to go along with 14 pars. O'Brien is one of six players at even par for the tournament, five strokes off the pace set by Kieran Purcell of Delaware (67-70). Thirteen players are even par or better heading into Sunday's final round. 

Elsewhere for Bucknell, Chris Tanabe shot 76-74, Ashton Radvansky had rounds of 79-76, Jack Gregor posted 74-84, and J.B. Thompson shot 87-76. 

At 597 total, Bucknell is two shots in back of 11th-place Saint Joseph's. Yale posted 282-289 and leads Dartmouth by one shot and Temple by two. 

Round three gets underway Sunday morning.
