Erskine, one of two Bucknell players to compete in the quarterfinals on Saturday, advanced with a 6-4, 6-4 win over Delaware’s Luis Marcano. He will play Lehigh’s Tyler Hansen in the semifinals at 9 a.m. on Sunday.
Wright saw his bid for a second straight singles title to open the season come to an end with a loss in his quarterfinal match in Flight 1. He was edged by Tim Stierle (Saint Joseph’s) 3-6, 6-4, (12-10). Stierle was the 2015-16 South Atlantic Conference Player of the Year while playing for Tusculum last season.
