LEWISBURG, Pa. – Senior captain Tegan Stanbach scored a game-high four goals while sophomore Emily Konishi dished out five assists to lead Bucknell to a 13-5 victory over St. Francis Brooklyn Saturday evening at Kinney Natatorium.

Bucknell (3-2) opened the day with a 12-3 win over Mercyhurst and kept that momentum going in the win over the Terriers. It was the third straight victory for the Bison, who’ve now scored in double figures in all three contests at the Bison Invitational.

Including Stanbach, seven different Bison registered a goal. Shyla Lintz (3) and Marta Considine (2) joined Stanbach by posting multi-goal outings.

The Bison capitalized on mistakes by the Terriers in the first period, going three-for-three on their six-on-five opportunities and connecting on both of their penalty-shots.

Bucknell scored the first three goals of the match, but St. Francis Brooklyn countered with back-to-back scores. The Bison answered with seven consecutive goals and did not look back, holding a 10-2 lead at halftime.

Manuela Herrera and Haley Derrod each played a half in goal, finishing with two saves apiece.

Bucknell will wrap up play at the Bison Invitational Sunday with a game against No. 19 Wagner at 2:15 p.m.
