LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell women’s water polo team concluded its four-game weekend with a 14-5 loss to No. 7 Michigan Sunday at Kinney Natatorium. The Bison finish the conference weekend with a 2-2 record.

Five different Bison scored in the match, including seniors Julia Ulrich and Tegan Stanbach, who found the back of the net in their final game at Kinney Natatorium. Emily Konishi (2) and Marta Considine each recorded an assist in the game.

Michigan (22-8, 5-0 CWPA) held a 6-3 lead at halftime and outscored the Bison 8-2 in the second half to win its 10th consecutive match.

Stanbach finished with three steals, while Konishi, Sarah Mooney and Marta Considine posted two steals apiece.

Haley Derrod started in her final match at Kinney Natatorium, making a season-high nine stops.

Bucknell has one more weekend of competition before the CWPA Championships. The Bison will travel to Oneonta, New York, for three games, including contests against Harvard (Apr. 8), Indiana (Apr. 8) and Brown (Apr. 9).
