ONEONTA, N.Y. – The Bucknell women’s water polo team resumed conference play Saturday with a 9-5 loss to No. 20 Harvard at Hartwick College. Four Bison scored in the match.
Considine filled up the stat sheet in the pool, adding a game-high five steals. Konishi and Gigi Rojahn contributed two steals apiece.
Bucknell led 2-1 after one quarter, but the Crimson stormed back with four straight goals in the second period to lead 5-2 at halftime. Harvard scored three more times in the third quarter to extend its lead en route to picking up its fourth straight victory.
Manuela Herrera made the start in cage, recording five saves.
The Bison return to the pool for a match against No. 14 Indiana at 4:30 p.m.
