HAMILTON, N.Y. – The Bucknell volleyball team dropped a conference match to Colgate 3-0 on the road on Monday night. Despite the loss, the Bison are still above .500 with a 9-8 overall record and are 3-4 in the Patriot League.

Colgate improved to 7-12 overall and 2-0 against Bucknell this season, winning by scores of 25-12, 25-14, 25-14. The Raiders, who missed the postseason by one win last year, are 5-3 in conference play.

The Bison rank second in the league in blocks and added six more against Colgate. Junior Erika Eastley finished with three block assists, while senior Karen Campbell, sophomore Luz Nagle and freshman Blake Buchholz had two apiece.

The Raiders were led by Jaelah Hutchison with eight kills and six block assists. Katie Stebbins had a match-high nine kills, while Kathleen Harris added eight.

The Bison have two more matches this week, both on the road. They will play at Holy Cross on Friday at 7 p.m. and at Army West Point on Saturday at 6 p.m.
