LEWISBURG, Pa. – Head coach Aaron Roussell and the Bucknell women’s basketball team will host “Breakfast with the Bison” on Saturday at 9 a.m. The event, which is free of charge and open to the public, will be held for the fourth straight year and will take place at Sojka Pavilion.
“This has really become a fun tradition for our program,” Roussell said. “It's a perfect kickoff to the season and a great way for our players to connect with our amazing fans.”
In addition to the opportunity to watch the team in action at practice, fans will be treated to food, coffee, a Q&A with the team and tours of the locker room. Fans are asked to use the main entrance of the Kenneth Langone Athletics and Recreation Center (KLARC) for the event, which will run from 9-11 a.m.
Bucknell is coming off a record-breaking season in which it recorded 27 wins, won the Patriot League regular season and tournament titles, and qualified for the NCAA Tournament as a No. 13 seed.
The Bison open the season on the road at Rider on Friday, Nov. 10. The home opener, which will include a banner unveiling for the latest championships, will be against Akron on Sunday, Nov. 12, at 2 p.m.
