LEWISBURG, Pa. – Rade Joksimovic and Jeff Hagen each posted four goals and one assist to lead the No. 17 Bucknell men's water polo team to an 11-7 victory over Wagner Saturday morning at Kinney Natatorium.

The Bison outscored the Seahawks, 7-1, in the second half to move to 5-0 in MAWPC action and win their 12th-straight match in their home pool.

After Wagner (9-7, 3-2 MAWPC) took a 6-4 lead into halftime by netting two unanswered goals in the final two minutes of the second quarter, Bucknell (9-6, 5-0 MAWPC) seized the momentum in the third.

First, Hagen evened the score, finding the back of the cage at the 7:23 and 5:09 marks. Then, Joksimovic gave the Bison their first lead with 2:23 on the clock; he struck again with just three seconds left to give Bucknell a two-goal cushion entering the final fame.

The Seahawks drew back within one by scoring the fourth quarter's first goal, but the Bison closed out the game with a run of three unanswered goals by Hagen, Marko Djordjevic and Joksimovic.

In net, Charlie Niehaus made 15 saves, 10 of which came in a first half controlled by Wagner. Djordjevic (1g-2a), Cullen Jacuzzi (3a), Cooper Dolan (1g-1a) and Logan Schofield (1g-1a) also had multi-point outings.

Hagen led the Bison in ejections drawn (5) while Joksimovic tied Dolan and Tommy Stupp for the team lead with two steals. Joksimovic also recorded four field blocks in the contest.

Bucknell scored six of its goals while up a man and held Wagner to a single man-advantage strike.

The Bison, who are 27-4 in their home pool since the beginning of the 2015 campaign, continue MAWPC play this afternoon when they face George Washington at 5 p.m.
