LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell men’s track and field team wrapped up competition Friday on day one of the Bison Open & Multi at Gerhard Fieldhouse.

Matthew Fay was the runner-up in a field of 23 participants in the pole vault, clearing 15-9.

Peter Onusconich qualified for the 60 hurdle finals, advancing past the prelims with a time of 8.69. In the finals, he finished sixth in 8.76.

PENN STATE NATIONAL 

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. The Bison men competed on the first day of the Penn State National Open on Friday at Ashenfelter III Indoor Track.

After an impressive debut in the long jump at the Gulden Invitational, senior Will Carter went up against some tougher competition at Penn State. The senior recorded a distance of 21-3 ¼ in the event, placing in the top-10. Carter also competed in the 60m, clocking in at 7.06, just 0.03 short of qualifying for the semifinals.

Both the Penn State National and Bison Open & Multi will conclude with a second day of competition on Saturday.
