LEWISBURG, Pa. -- Bucknell junior Lindsay Dodovich added another honor to her growing portfolio on Wednesday when she was one of five student-athletes from across the league to be named to the Academic All-Patriot League Women's Golf Team.
This is Dodovich's second Academic All-Patriot League selection in as many years, and it comes on the heels of her earning All-Patriot League honors for the second straight year as well. Dodovich finished in ninth place at the 2017 Patriot League Championship at Saucon Valley Country Club, posting a 233 total with rounds of 78-78-77.
A political science major with a 3.65 cumulative grade-point average, Dodovich led the Bison with a 78.7 scoring average in 2016-17. Sixteen of her 26 rounds were in the 70s, including a career-best 2-under-par 70 in the final round of the Sunoco Campbell Oil Classic in North Carolina in late-March.
Dodovich was joined by Adela Cejnarova and Phyllis Tang of Boston University, and Reagan Jahn and Elizabeth McGarrigle of Lehigh. Cejnarova, the three-time league champion, was named Patriot League Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
Bucknell's season is now complete after finishing in fifth place at the Patriot League Championship.
