STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- Lindsay Dodovich and Emily Larson finished strong with a pair of 4-over-par 76s, leading the Bucknell women's golf team to a 319 team tally Sunday afternoon in the third and final round of the Nittany Lion Invitational at the Penn State Blue Course. The Bison finished in ninth place with a 54-hole total of 949.

For Dodovich, it was her second 76 of the tournament. She opened with that number on Saturday morning before shooting 80 in round two. On Sunday, Dodovich rallied after a rough start. She began the day on the 10th hole and then opened with a bogey and two doubles over her first three holes. But then she played her final 15 holes in 1-under. The highlight of her day came near the end of her round, when she birdied the par-5 fifth hole, followed by a hole-out for eagle at the par-4 sixth hole.

Dodovich was Bucknell's top finisher on the individual leaderboard. Her 232 total was good for T-23rd.

Larson compiled a birdie, a bogey, and seven pars en route to an even-par 36 on the course's back nine. Her only major trouble was a double-bogey at the par-5 ninth en route to her 76. Larson posted a pair of 80s on Saturday and finished in a tie for 33rd place.

Bucknell also counted an 82 from Anna Dailey and an 85 from Katie Childers, who had shot 77-79 a day earlier. Eunbbie Kim finished with an 86.

Host Penn State closed with a 295 and won its own invitational for the 21st time in 40 years. The Nittany Lions' 885 total easily outdistance runner-up Columbia at 907. Rutgers and Richmond tied for third at 912.

Richmond's Isabella Rusher was the medalist at even-par 216 (70-74-72). Ashleigh Greenham of Rutgers finished alone in second place, one stroke off the lead.

Next up for the Bison is Toledo's Rocket Classic on Oct. 10-11.
