BEALLSVILLE, Md. -- The Bucknell women's golf squad compiled a 333 team score on Tuesday and finished in 14th place at the Hoya Invitational, hosted by Georgetown at Four Streams GC. Lindsay Dodovich provided the low round of the day for the Bison with a 6-over-par 78.
Dodovich shot 82-76-78 over the 54-hole tournament, putting her in a tie for 40th place in the individual standings. Elsewhere for the Bison on Tuesday, Katie Childers finished up win an 84, Emily Larson shot 85, Meredith Langs 86, and Anna Dailey 91.
South Florida closed with a 303 for an 899 total, giving the Bulls a 10-stroke victory over runner-up Georgetown. The Hoyas' 298 was the best score of the final round. Princeton (910), Yale (913) and Rollins (914) rounded out the top five.
Alexa Popowitz of Georgetown was the individual medalist with a 3-over 219 (71-73-75). Jennifer Peng of Yale began the day at 2-under but shot 78, leaving her in second place, one shot behind Popowitz.
Next up for Bucknell is the Patriot League Championship Apr. 22-23 at Saucon Valley Country Club in Bethlehem, Pa.
