PORT CLINTON, Ohio – The Bucknell women’s golf team posted team scores of 323 and 329 on Monday at the Rocket Classic hosted by Toledo. Lindsay Dodovich is the low Bison at 155 through 36 holes, as Bucknell is in 11th place in a strong field of 14 teams with 18 holes remaining. 

Dodovich posted a pair of 70s to lead the Bucknell women’s golf contingent on the opening day, finishing with a 76-79-155. She is tied for 20th place in the standings.

Katie Childers (84-83-167) and Meredith Langs (82-85-167), who made her debut in the top five Monday, are in a three-way tie for 58th. Eunbbie Kim (81-92-173) and Emily Larson (92-82-174) sit in 75th and 76th, respectively.

Western Michigan is in first place in the team standings after shooting a 601. Julia Champion of Western Michigan is in first place in the individual standings after shooting 73-73-146 on the opening day. She holds a two-stroke lead over Eastern Kentucky’s Elsa Moberly (79-69-148), Bradley’s Ally Scaccia (75-73-148) and Pinyada Kuvanum (71-77-148) of Toledo.

The Rocket Classic will wrap up Tuesday. Tee time is set for 9 a.m.
