BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Junior Lindsay Dodovich turned in a ninth-place finish to earn All-Patriot League honors for the second year in a row, leading the Bucknell women’s golf squad to a fifth-place finish at the 2017 Patriot League Championship, hosted by Lehigh at Saucon Valley Country Club.

Bucknell closed with a 323 team score for a 54-hole total of 967. The Bison started the day 12 shots behind Lehigh and Navy for third place. They briefly caught Navy on the back nine on Sunday, but the Mids ended up four strokes better at 963.

Dodovich posted a 5-over-par 77 in the final round after a pair of 78s on Saturday. She made 15 pars over her final 18 holes, with her only major blemish a triple-bogey 8 at the par-5 15th hole.  Dodovich, who also finished in ninth place at last year’s Patriot League Championship, had 37 pars and two birdies in her 54 holes this weekend. She was one of only eight players in the field to post three rounds in the 70s.

Senior Emily Larson had a strong finish in her final career round. She made 11 pars and a birdie en route to a 78. She finished in a tie for 12th on the individual leaderboard with a 238 total.

Elsewhere for Bucknell on Sunday, Katie Childers shot 82, Eunbbie Kim posted an 86, Meredith Langs carded an 89, and Nicole Mischler finished up with a 94.

Richmond repeated as team champion, holding off Boston University by just two strokes. The Spiders began the day two shots back, but posted 306 on Sunday for a 54-hole total of 916, while the Terriers shot 310 for a total of 918. Lehigh finished third at 930, followed by Navy, Bucknell and Holy Cross (1063).

Boston University’s Adela Cejnarova won her third straight individual title with a total of 222 (74-71-77). Teammate Phyllis Tang was three shots back at 225. Three players finished at 227.
