About the Bison (Men)
>> Bucknell opened the season Friday with the school-hosted Bison Open.
>> The Bison occupied the top 14 spots in a field of 50 participants.
>> Ross Pirnie took first in the three-mile course, completing the race in 14:39, which is a personal record for the senior at the season opening meet.
>> Freshmen Drew Dorflinger and Ben Siciliano had impressive collegiate debuts, finishing second and third, respectively.
>> Luke Giugliano finished fourth, followed by Jacob Stupak, Louis Tobias, Zach Williams, Kyle Adams, Landin Delaney and Brian Dengler.

About the Bison (Women)
>> The defending Patriot League champions took the top 11 spots at Friday’s Bison Open.
>> Kate Scott finished first in 16:51, winning the race by 22 seconds over teammate Sarah Chandler.
>> Elizabeth Sheprow finished third, followed by Jenna Farmer, Grace Loh, Colleen Buckley, Margaret Thomson, Lauren Hazzard, Brennan Sharkey, Kathleen Fitzgerald and Anna Chiodo-Ortiz.
>> Bucknell head coach Kevin Donner is a 1984 Detroit graduate and former head coach of his alma mater. During his nine-year run with the Titans, Donner guided the women’s cross country program to consecutive MCC titles in 1986 and 1987.

Detroit Titan Invitational History (Men)
>> Bucknell lasted competed at the meet in 2014, winning the individual and team titles.
>> The Bison also won the team title at the four-mile meet in 2012.

Detroit Titan Invitational History (Women)
>> The Bucknell women have captured team titles five times, coming in 2003-05, 2012 and most recently 2014.
