ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- Senior Julianna Foss and junior Abigail Rosenberg each had a hand in two school records, and freshman Maggie Wyngowski smashed the Bucknell standard in the 200-yard breaststroke en route to Rookie of the Meet honors, as the Bison women's swimming and diving team wrapped up action at the Patriot League Championships on Saturday at Navy's Lejeune Hall. Bucknell finished in fourth place with 423 points, behind only Navy (904.5), Army (568) and Lehigh (543) in the 10-team field.

Foss and sophomore Emma Hadley turned in Bucknell's highest finishes of the evening with silver-medal performances. Foss was runner-up in a terrific 200-yard butterfly race with Navy's Delaney Walz. Foss finished a close second in a time of 2:00.00, which bettered her own school record set at the 2016 Patriot League Championships in the same pool.

Hadley took second in the 200 backstroke, touching in 1:58.59. Junior Julie Byrne also made the A final in the 200 back, finishing fifth in 1:59.22. Junior Steph Boyd was runner-up in the B final, good for 10th-place points with a time of 2:00.42, which puts her into seventh place on Bucknell's career list.

Rosenberg tied her own school record in a fourth-place finish in the 100 freestyle. Her time of 50.42 matched her standard set at last year's Patriot League meet at Kinney Natatorium.

Wyngowski, who placed second in the 400 individual medley (in school-record time) and fourth in the 200 IM earlier in the meet, took fourth in the 200 breaststroke on Saturday. Her time of 2:14.98 dropped a second and a half off her preliminary time and crushed the previous Bucknell record of 2:15.90, set by Macey Keath all the way back in 2009. That was the second-oldest individual swimming mark in the Bucknell record book. Two days older is Molly Goebel's standard in the 50 free.

Wyngowski is the second Bison to earn Rookie of the Meet honors since the award's inception in 2005. Emma Levandoski earned the honor in 2013.

Also falling Saturday night was the Bucknell record in the 400 free relay. Rosenberg, Caroline EdelmanLindsay Smalec and Foss finished in 3:22.72, breaking the record by nearly two full seconds. It was the fourth relay record set by the Bison during the meet, in addition to new marks in five individual events.

Backing up Wyngowski in the 200 breast was senior Leah Bloodgood, who also reached the A final and finished in seventh place in 2:17.33, the fourth-fastest mark in school history.

Bucknell had two eighth-place scorers on the final night of the meet, Smalec in the 200 fly (2:04.48) and sophomore Abby Merriman in the 1,650 free (17:01.41). Freshman Amanda Lauer was 12th in the mile in 17:10.29, which moved her into seventh place on Bucknell's all-time list, and freshman Mia Haggerty also scored with a 14th-place finish (17:17.55).
