Quote from Head Coach Kevin Donner
“Six athletes at this meet are the most in school history, even going back to the four region system from a few years ago,” said the Patriot League Coach of the Year. “Kate and Chrissy return from last year and have experience at this level which should really pay off. Sarah and Colleen have had tremendous seasons and it's great to be represented at this meet in every distance race 1500 and above. Meg and Rebecca came very close last year in the javelin and this year they solidified their spot very early. At this level, anything can happen and all six women have a shot to advance to Eugene.”
* This is the second straight year that Bucknell has sent athletes to the NCAA Regional meet.
* Six athletes ties a school record for the most sent to the meet, joining the 2007 squad.
* Two Bison have earned All-America recognition, including Lonnie Fertik (1982, heptathlon) and Laura Rycek (2011, javelin).
