About the Bison
• Bucknell enters the postseason as the No. 2 seed after going 26-21-1 overall and 13-5 in the Patriot League during the regular season. The Bison went 17-3-1 over the final 21 games.
• Four Bison players were voted All-Patriot League at the conclusion of the regular season. Senior Meghan Kovac, junior Lauren Hadley, and sophomore Raeanne Geffert all made the First Team, while Julienne Egofske picked up a Second Team selection.
• The Bison are back in the Patriot League Tournament after missing out on the postseason last year. They have made the league tournament in five of the last six years.
• Bucknell will play Lehigh for a fourth straight postseason appearance.
• Offensively, the Bison rank first in the Patriot League in doubles (68), home runs (35), slugging (.431), walks (133), and on-base percentage (.352).
Raeanne Geffert has been one of the best pitchers in the league this season. She ranks in the top three in the conference in ERA (1.94), wins (17), and opponents’ batting average (.232).
• The No. 2 seed is the highest for the Bison since they were also a No. 2 seed in 2015.
• Patriot League teams combined for seven wins over teams from Power Five conferences this season. Bucknell had three of them with two wins over Penn State and one over Rutgers. Boston University beat then-No. 1 Oklahoma, Duke, and Michigan State. Army West Point beat Syracuse.

Scouting Lehigh
• Lehigh is 22-24-1 overall and went 11-7 in the Patriot League after closing the regular season with five wins in its final six games.
• The Mountain Hawks were the top seed and host in the past six Patriot League Tournaments.
• Lehigh uses small ball offensively. The Mountain Hawks ranks fifth out of seven teams in slugging but lead the conference in stolen bases by a large margin. They have 108 stolen bases on 121 attempts, while the next Boston University ranks second with 62 stolen bases.

Series History
• Bucknell and Lehigh have played 93 times since the series started in 1979.
• The Mountain Hawks lead 91-42, but the Bison took two of three games this year during the regular season. It was Bucknell’s first series win over Lehigh since 1998.
• Six of the past 12 games in the season have been decided by one run.
• Bucknell and Lehigh have played against each other 17 times in the Patriot League Tournament. The Mountain Hawks lead 11-6 in postseason games between the teams, including a 1-0 win in the opening round of the 2016 tournament.
