FARMVILLE, Va. -- Connor O'Brien shot a 1-under-par 143 over 36 holes on Saturday, and the Bucknell men's golf team is in seventh place at the Manor Intercollegiate after posting scores of 294 and 301 in breezy conditions. 

O'Brien opened with a 3-under 69, then came back to shoot 74 in the afternoon. He is one of nine players in the field in red numbers through 36, and he sits in a four-way tie for sixth place, two strokes behind Longwood's Jordan Boulton and James Madison's Poom Pattaropong. 

Peter Bradbeer also had a good day for the Bison, shooting 72-75 to sit in a tie for 17th place. Jubal Early carded 78-75, D.J. Magee had rounds of 75-79, and John Edler shot 79-77. 

At 595 total, Bucknell is five shots behind sixth-place Binghamton and six in back of fifth-place Ferrum. Tournament host Longwood put up scores of 291 and 285 for an even-par 576 total. The Lancers are seven shots in front of Dartmouth and nine ahead of Delaware atop the team leaderboard. 

The third and final round gets underway Sunday morning with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
