FARMVILLE, Va. -- The Bucknell men's golf team posted a final-round 304 on Sunday and finished in eighth place in a 16-team field at the Manor Intercollegiate, hosted by Longwood. The Bison finished with an 899 total over 54 holes, three shots behind Towson and Binghamton.

Peter Bradbeer fired a 1-over-par 73 to lead the Bison unit on Sunday. At 220 for the weekend (72-75-73), Bradbeer finished a team-best T-16th.  

After shooting 69-74 on Saturday, Connor O'Brien began the day 1-under par for the tournament and just two shots off the lead. But O'Brien had a tough day on Sunday, finishing with an 80 to finish T-29th. 

Also for Bucknell in the final round, D.J. Magee shot 75, John Edler 76 and Jubal Early 82. 

Rhode Island finished with an 8-over 872 to hold off Dartmouth by two strokes for the team title. Longwood and Delaware tied for third at 875, followed by Ferrum in fifth at 883.

Jack Gianniny of Delaware and Chris Houston of Rhode Island tied for the individual lead at 3-under 213, and Houston earned medalist honors on the first playoff hole. 

The Bison are back in action on Monday, Apr. 10 at the Finegan Invitational at Whitemarsh Valley CC.
