About the Bison
• Bucknell enters the weekend with a 5-13 record. The Bison, were picked to finish sixth in the Patriot League Preseason Poll, open league play on Sunday.
• The Bison have some momentum heading into conference play, having won three of their last five matches, including most recently a 4-3 win over Mount St. Mary’s.
• Against Mount St. Mary’s, four different Bison won in singles competition. Max Palmer (court two), Andrei Vitiuc (court three), and Max Kane (court four) each won in straight sets, while Max McDonald was victorious in three sets on court six to clinch the Bucknell win.
• The clinching win was the third three-set win for McDonald in his past four matches, bringing his spring record to 5-8.
• In addition to McDonald, both Ben Gerber and Max Kane have picked up five victories in the spring season.
• The pairings of Gerber/Daniel Wright and Bryan Adams/Timber Erskine have combined for nine of the 13 doubles victories in dual play.
• Bucknell went 2-3 against Patriot League opponents during the 2016 regular season in addition to beating Boston University in the Patriot League quarterfinals.

Scouting Army West Point
• Army West Point enters with a 10-8 overall record, including an 8-5 mark in home matches.
• The Black Knights were picked to finish first in the Patriot League Preseason Poll, receiving all 16 eligible first-place votes.
• Currently on a two-match losing streak, the Black Knights had won seven matches in a row by a combined tally of 31-3.
• Junior Michael Nguyen plays at No. 1 singles and was the only Black Knight player to earn a victory in the recent 6-1 loss to Santa Clara.

Series History with Army West Point
• Army West Point leads the all-time series 30-3, including a 4-2 win in the semifinal round of the 2016 Patriot League Tournament.
Daniel Wright won in straight sets on court two in the postseason loss to the Black Knights last season.
• The teams first played in 1971.

Scouting Holy Cross
• After going 1-6 in the fall, Holy Cross opened its spring schedule with a 7-0 loss at Sacred Heart.
• The Crusaders were picked to finish ninth in the Patriot League Preseason Poll.
• The Crusaders haven’t seen match action in nearly a month, but will have four contests this weekend. Before playing Bucknell on Sunday, they will compete against Army West Point, Lafayette, and Loyola.
