ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Bucknell men’s tennis played well in doubles again, but lost 7-0 to Navy in a Patriot League match at the USNA Tennis Courts on Saturday.

Two of the three doubles matches went to a tiebreaker. Seniors Ben Gerber and Daniel Wright were edged 7-6 (7-0) by Aries Wong and Andrew Ton on court one. Juniors Max McDonald and Andrei Vitiuc came up just short in a 7-6 (7-4) loss to Greg Durham and Gabriel Pilones on court two.

The two doubles teams that the Bison pushed to a tiebreaker are a combined 16-2 overall and 7-0 against Patriot League opponents.

Navy improved to 22-10 overall and 5-1 in the conference, while Bucknell dropped to 5-20 overall and 2-4 in the league.

The Bison will play at Loyola on Sunday at 3 p.m.
