PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Bucknell completed its final day of competition at the Brown Invitational on Sunday afternoon. Ben Rosenstock won the championship match in Flight 8, while the Bison advanced three other athletes to final singles matches.

Rosenstock won his first match in a tight, tie-breaking contest against Montreal's Oliver Berthiaume, 6-1, 2-6, 1-0, to advance to the main draw finals. In another tie-braker, Rosenstock was able to overcome Villanova's Sumanth Chittajallu, 5-7, 6-3, 1-0, and became the champion of his flight.

Sid Makkar won his main draw semi-finals match versus Larry Tran of Villanova, 6-2, 6-3, and advanced to the finals in Flight 9. Assumption's Steve Tlumacki got the best of Makkar with a final match score of 6-3, 6-3, ranking Makkar second in his flight.

Asher Salam also advanced to the main draw finals, after winning his semi finals match, but was defeated in the finals by Army's Mike Good, 8-1, in Flight 3.

Ira Reibeisen, who fell into the back draw earlier in the tournament, made a strong showing as he won his back draw semi-finals match and went on to win his finals match easily over BU's Barrett Wolf, 6-2, 6-3, placing Reibeisen ninth in Flight 2.

There were not any Bison doubles qualifiers for today's competition.

Bucknell returns to action in two weeks at the Connecticut Invitational, which is scheduled to start on Friday, Sept. 30 and conclude on Sunday, Oct. 2.
