LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell volleyball team wraps up a stretch of five straight road matches with a pair of Patriot League contests this weekend. The Bison will play at first-place American on Friday at 7 p.m. and at Navy on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. Friday's match will be shown on the Patriot League Network.

Bucknell is 10-9 overall and 4-5 in the Patriot League after splitting its league matches last weekend. The Bison defeated Holy Cross 3-1 on Friday before falling 3-0 to Army West Point on Saturday. Junior Erika Eastley and senior Karen Campbell combined for 30 kills and both posted a hitting percentage better than .400. It was the ninth time this season that Campbell has hit over .400.

Erika Eastley tallied six block assists against the Crusaders and now sits in second place in the conference with 1.20 blocks per set. Campbell is just two spots behind her with 1.02 per set. Eastley led the league in that category last season, while Campbell was fifth.

As a team, Bucknell trails only American in blocks, averaging 2.20 per set. Individually, Campbell ranks third in hitting percentage (.367) and fifth in kills. Senior Meghan Wentzel is third in assists, averaging 9.20 per set.

American is 17-6 overall and sits in first place as the only unbeaten team in the Patriot League with its 8-0 record. The Eagles had their nine-match winning streak snapped with a 3-2 loss at George Washington on Wednesday. They lead the league in hitting percentage, opponent hitting percentage and blocks. Individually, Erin Swartz leads the conference in blocks, while Monika Smidova ranks second in assists.

The Eagles have won 10 straight matches against league opponents. Their last loss was on the road to Lehigh in the 2014 regular season finale.

Navy is 4-17 overall and 2-6 in league play following back-to-back Patriot League wins over Lafayette and Loyola (Md.). The Mids were shut out just once in those six league losses and four of the matches went five sets. They rank third in the conference in aces, averaging 1.59 per set. Sydney Shearn, Maggie Phillips and Darby Minton all rank in the top 10 individually.

Navy leads the all-time series with Bucknell 26-22. The Bison snapped a six-match losing streak to the Mids with a big 3-2 win in their first matchup this season.
