LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The Bucknell baseball team will travel to Holy Cross on Tuesday for a single nine-inning game at 5:30 p.m. at Hanover Insurance Park at Fitton Field. The game is the make-up for the Apr. 15 game that was postponed due to inclement weather, and it will be Bucknell's final contest of the regular season. The contest will be streamed live on the Patriot League Network at PatriotLeague.tv.

Tuesday's game will pit two teams currently occupying the third and fourth spots in the Patriot League standings. Bucknell has clinched one of the four Patriot League Tournament berths and is currently in third place with a 13-10-1 record (the league office has confirmed that Saturday's weather-suspended game at Lafayette will be considered a tie). Holy Cross is fourth at 10-10 in league play, and the Crusaders still have home doubleheaders coming up this weekend against Lafayette and Lehigh.

The Bison can clinch the No. 3 seed with a victory over Holy Cross, while the Crusaders can secure a postseason bid with a win and also stay alive to pass Bucknell for third place. Holy Cross has a 3.5-game lead over fifth-place Lehigh and also holds the tiebreaker over the Mountain Hawks.

Bucknell punched its ticket to the Patriot League Tournament with a 3-1 victory over Lehigh in game one of a doubleheader on Sunday. The Bison will play either Army West Point or Navy in the best-2-of-3 semifinal series May 12-13. Navy has finished its league schedule with an 18-7 record. Second-place Army is 15-6 with four games remaining, two against Lehigh and two against Lafayette. The Black Knights would need to win all four to swipe the No. 1 seed.
