LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The Bucknell men's basketball team punched its ticket to the NCAA Tournament with a scintillating performace in Wednesday night's Patriot League championship game, and now the Bison await their "Big Dance" destination. Bucknell fans are invited to join the team in the Elaine Langone Center "Forum" on Sunday evening to watch the NCAA Tournament Selection Show. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., with the show starting at 6 p.m. on TBS.

Bucknell is headed to the NCAA Tournament for the eighth time, and this will be the team's second back-to-back appearance. The Bison first went in consecutive years in 2005 and 2006, winning first-round games each time. Last season Bucknell was a No. 13 seed and lost a close game to West Virginia, 86-80. Bucknell's other NCAA trips came in 1987, 1989, 2011 and 2013.

The Bison enter this year's NCAAs with a 25-9 record and an eight-game winning streak. They went 19-2 against Patriot League foes, including the postseason tournament, and they have won 21 of their last 23 and 25 of their last 30. Bucknell has an RPI ranking of 78, and most projections have the Bison pegged for a No. 14 seed.
