LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The Bucknell men's basketball placed a league-high eight of its 13 student-athletes on the 2017 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the league office announced today. In addition to winning the Patriot League regular-season and tournament championships, the Bison posted a strong 3.24 combined grade-point averge in the spring semester. 

Second Team All-Patriot League point guard Stephen Brown led the squad with a 3.66 GPA while majoring in psychology. Patriot League Player of the Year Nana Foulland and rising junior guard Kimbal Mackenzie, who both made the five-man Academic All-Patriot League Team last fall, were also named to the Academic Honor Roll. 

To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.

American, Army West Point, Colgate and Loyola all placed six student-athletes on the Academic Honor Roll.
