LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell, the No. 1 seed in the Patriot League Women’s Basketball Tournament, is set to host a semifinal game for the first time in program history when it welcomes fourth-seeded American to Sojka Pavilion on Friday at 5 p.m. Sojka Pavilion will also be the host site for the second semifinal matchup between second-seeded Navy and third-seeded Army West Point at 7:30 p.m. It will be just the sixth neutral-site game in the 37-year rivalry between the teams.
A ticket gets fans into both Patriot League semifinal games. They can be purchased ONLINE, in person at either Campus Box Office location (Weis Center, Elaine Langone Center), or over the phone at 570-577-1000.
Regardless of the outcome of Friday’s contests, the championship game, which will be broadcast live on CBS Sports Network, will be played at Sojka Pavilion on Sunday at 11 a.m. The winner of that game will receive the league’s automatic bid to the NCAA Championship Tournament. Tickets for the title game will go on sale in the Woollum Lobby immediately after Bucknell’s game on Friday.
