LEWISBURG, Pa. – The 2016-17 Bucknell Athletics season officially kicks off tonight when the Bison women’s soccer team hosts Monmouth at 7 p.m. at Emmitt Field at Holmes Stadium. As the new year approaches, here are some tips on how to follow all of your favorite Bison teams.

There is no better way to support the Bison than to come on out to campus, wear plenty of orange and cheer on the teams from a great seat in one of our venues! With the exception of football, men’s and women’s basketball, and select postseason championships, there is free admission to Bucknell athletics events. Just walk in and find a seat!

Head over to the FACILITIES page for more information about each of our athletics venues, as well as for directions and a campus map if you are visiting for the first time.

Season tickets are now on sale for football and men’s and women’s basketball, and single-game football tickets may be purchased via the online TICKET STORE starting on Monday, Aug. 22. For more information, or to purchase tickets in person or over the phone, call 570-577-1000 or stop by the Campus Box Office, located at the Weis Center on campus.

BucknellBison.com is the official website of Bucknell Athletics, and this is your best source for stories, videos, information, stats, schedules, photos and much more. Most home events feature live, in-game statistical updates. New “In the Herd” on-demand videos are posted regularly and will focus on student-athlete profiles and look-aheads to upcoming games.

We also recommend checking out Bucknell’s online GIFT SHOP and PHOTO STORE.

BucknellBison.com also has a mobile-enhanced version, which delivers a condensed style of the official athletics site to provide latest news and updates to handheld devices. Bucknell’s official athletic site is available on all web-enabled devices by opening a browser and entering BucknellBison.com. Fans can get the latest news, scores, upcoming schedule, photo galleries and more.

We also recommend that Apple and Android users download the official Bucknell Athletics app from your app store. The app is an extension of the BucknellBison.com website and features much of the same information found there in a simple, user-friendly interface. Fans can browse the latest news, video features, scores, schedules and rosters. Live stats can be accessed for many of Bucknell’s home contests, and fans can listen to live radio calls for Bison football and men’s and women’s basketball games.

The iPhone and Android apps are free to download, and the majority of the information within the app is available for no charge. An additional $4.99 in-app purchase allows users watch on-demand video feature stories and highlights, as well as listen to live radio broadcasts of Bucknell football and basketball games. The iPad app requires a $4.99 purchase from the start.

Once again this year, most Bison home events and many away Patriot League contests will air live in high definition and free of charge on the Patriot League Network. Again, there is no sign-up required. Simply log on to PatriotLeague.TV, click on the game you want to watch, and that’s it!

If you missed a game when it aired live, or perhaps you attended the game in person and want to relive the best moments later on, there is an archives page where you can find previous events.

Fans can also continue to watch live events on mobile devices through the Patriot League Network, with access via PatriotLeague.TV or the Campus Insiders app.

Eagle 107 (WEGH 107.3 FM) is once again the official flagship station for Bucknell football and men’s basketball in 2015-16. The games can be heard on Eagle 107 throughout the Susquehanna Valley. The audio broadcasts are also available at BucknellBison.com and via the Bucknell Athletics app.

Women’s basketball games can be heard on Bucknell’s campus radio station WVBU 90.5 FM. All women’s basketball games and select baseball and softball contests will also have radio calls available online.

Once again this year we invite fans to interact with Bison Athletics via Twitter (@Bucknell_Bison), Facebook (Bucknell Athletics) and Instagram (@BucknellBison) account.

Also be on the lookout for some live streaming via the app Periscope during the course of the year.
