About Bucknell
-- The Bison sit at 2-2 overall after the first month of competition. After opening the season with a pair of one-goal victories over Delaware and Bryant, Bucknell has dropped its past two matches versus Fairfield and Colgate.

-- Colgate was the first conference opponent for Bucknell in 2017, as the Raiders earned a 15-10 victory. The two teams were tied at five apiece midway through the second quarter, but Colgate scored nine of the next ten goals to put the game out of reach.

-- Sean O'Brien and Reed Malas scored three times each against Colgate. Will Sands added two goals and two assists, while Brad Dotson caused a team-high three turnovers on defense.

-- Bucknell’s 2017 point leaders include Sands (21p, 6g, 15a), O’Brien (17p, 15g, 2a), Malas (16p, 9g, 7a), and Connor O'Hara (9p, 9g, 0a). O’Brien has already surpassed his 2016 goal total.

-- Christian Klipstein recorded his 200th career save against Colgate. He has a .554 save percentage through his first two seasons.

-- As a team, the Bison have excelled at keeping control of the ball, as their 43 turnovers are the fewest in the Patriot League.

-- Bucknell has been a fourth-quarter team, outscoring opponents 15-5 in the final frame.

-- O’Brien’s 3.75 goals per game rank first in the Patriot League, while Sands is first in the conference and third in the nation with 3.75 assists per game.

-- Sands, who was named to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List earlier this week, now has 59 career assists, which are tied for ninth-most in program history. Pete Keblish (1987-90) also had 59. Next on the list is Tom Walther '88 with 65.

-- Jarett Witzal is only four games into his sophomore season, but he already ranks fourth on Bucknell's career chart for faceoff wins with 214.

Scouting Navy
