LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell men's lacrosse team entered this week's United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Coaches' Poll.

The Bison, who are coming off an upset of No. 18/20 Colgate, checked in at No. 20. This is the first time they have achieved a national ranking since they were tabbed 20th in both the USILA Coaches' Poll and the Inside Lacrosse Cascade/Maverik Media Poll on Feb. 22, 2016.

Bucknell is one of three Patriot League teams ranked in this week's USILA Coaches' Poll, joining No. 9 Loyola (Md.) and No. 14 Army West Point. Albany, Maryland and Duke are the top three teams.

Off to a 3-1 (1-0 Patriot League) start, the Bison have averaged 11.50 goals per game. They boast one of the nation's top attackers in Will Sands, a three-time Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week who currently ranks second in the NCAA in both points (27) and assists (17).

Bucknell returns to action on Saturday, March 3 by hosting Navy at 1 p.m.
