High School: Rowed for the Wilmington Youth Rowing Association (WYRA) from 2008 to 2010… then moved to the Newport Rowing Club (NRC) and rowed there for three years … greatest accomplishments at NRC were winning the 2013 Mainline Slide in the Junior Women’s Division, winning the 2012 Junior Women's Lightweight Division of Main Line Slide, placing fifth at C.R.A.S.H.-Bs Junior Lightweight Division, competing in the Petite Final at the 2012 USRowing Youth Nationals – Lightweight Four, and being named captain in the spring of 2012 … rowed in the Head of the Charles in both 2009 and 2011 … attended USRowing Youth Nationals in 2010 … While at Unionville High School, served on the Student Council all four years, was a member of the National Honors Society and the French Honors Society, and was a member of three other Unionville specific organizations.

Personal: Daughter of Louisa Wright (Trinity College) and Coleman Sellers VI (Ithaca College) … both parents rowed in college … two older step brothers (also rowers) convinced her to start rowing … younger brother, Willson, is one of her greatest inspirations and she loves chatting with him while listening to music in her free time … undecided about major but is considering a career in physical therapy and maybe coaching at a local organization … aspires to compete at an NCAA Championship.

Why I chose Bucknell: “I chose Bucknell because academically, it offers unparalleled educational opportunities, and rowing wise, I loved the integration of the lightweight and openweight programs, the emphasis on sculling and injury prevention, and the ability to study abroad.”
