LEWISBURG, Pa. – Three Bucknell swimmers landed spots on the All-Patriot League Men’s Swimming and Diving teams, which were released by the conference office on Wednesday. Senior Louis Behnen and junior Chris Devlin were each First Team honorees, while senior Jack Robinson received Second Team recognition.
Behnen will leave Bucknell as a four-time First Team All-Patriot League selection after competing in his final conference championship meet this past weekend. He scored 46 points for the second straight year, highlighted by a runner-up finish with the program’s second-fastest time in program history in the 1650 free. His 1000 split was also the second-fastest time in school history in that event.
Behnen’s 46 points were the second most at Bucknell and the 11th most overall. He took third in the 500 free and was sixth in the 400 IM. He also swam a leg on the 800 free relay that recorded the fourth-fastest time in school history.
Devlin was voted the Patriot League Male Swimmer of the Meet for the second straight year, becoming just the second swimmer in Bucknell history to earn the award twice. His 56 points were the most of anyone at the meet and led Bucknell for the third consecutive year. He has scored over 50 points in all three meets.
Devlin swept the backstroke events, earning the fourth and fifth individual titles of his career. That moves him into a tie for 10th at Bucknell. He added a third-place finish in the 200 IM. He finished the meet with two individual school records (100 back, 200 IM) and two relay records (200 medley relay, 400 medley relay).
Robinson earned Second Team honors for the third consecutive season after scoring 38 points. He was fifth in the 200 free, sixth in the 200 back, and eighth in the 100 back. He was also a part of the 400 medley relay team that set a school record, as well as the 800 free relay that finished with the program’s fourth-fastest time.
