LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell men’s swimming and diving had three student-athletes named to the Academic All-Patriot League Team for the second straight year, and it was the same three swimmers to earn the award. Seniors Jack Robinson and Louis Behnen earned a spot on the academic team for the third straight year, while junior Chris Devlin received the honor for a second time.

Robinson, a double major in political science and classics with a 3.81 GPA, earned the academic award in each of his three years of eligibility. He is also a member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll and has completed two research fellowships on campus.

In his final Patriot League Championships, he scored 38 points after taking fifth in the 200 free, sixth in the 200 back, and eighth in the 100 back. He was on the 400 medley relay that broke a school record and the 800 free relay that had the program’s fourth-fastest time. He was a Second Team All-Patriot League honoree.

Behnen is a double major in economics and political science with a 3.46 GPA. He also earned the academic award every year he was eligible. Additionally, he is a two-time CSCAA Scholar All-American and a member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

Behnen finished his career as the high point scorer at the Patriot League Championships for the entire male senior class of the conference, scoring 172 over four championship meets. In his final PL meet, he scored 46 points after taking second in the 1650 free, third in the 500 free, and sixth in the 400 IM. He was a First Team All-Patriot League honoree.

Devlin, an economics major with a 3.36 GPA, is now a two-time Academic All-Patriot League selection. He is also a two-time member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

Devlin was named the Male Swimmer of the Meet for a second consecutive year after leading all student-athletes with 56 points at the Patriot League Championships. He won the 100 back with a school-record time and also won the 200 back. He added a third-place finish with a school-record time in the 200 IM, and was on two relays (200 medley, 400 medley) that broke school records. Devlin was a First Team All-Patriot League honoree.

Bucknell and Navy tied for the league lead with three Academic All-Patriot League honors apiece. The team was made up of 10 student-athletes.
