WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Four Bison posted IC4A-qualifying marks Friday on the second day of competition at the Colonial Relays hosted by William & Mary.

Bucknell battled through rainy conditions, and waited through a two-hour tornado delay, which cancelled three sections of the javelin throw.

Drew Dorflinger impressed in his outdoor debut, scoring in the 1,500-meter run to get the Bison on the board. He finished fifth among 107 runners with an IC4A-qualifying mark of 3:51.68.

Luke Giugliano scored for Bucknell in the 5,000m, taking seventh with an IC4A-qualifying time of 14:26.47. Will Bordash finished in 14:44.66, meeting the IC4A requirement.

Jordan Jackson qualified for IC4As in the 800m, clocking a time of 1:53.34.

"We had many guys handle the adverse weather very well and a few others struggled," said head coach Kevin Donner. "Had some nice IC4A qualifiers in the 5k and 1,500 from Bordash, Dorflinger and Giugliano late last night. I thought our guys in the 100 ran very well on the rain."

The Colonial Relays will conclude on Saturday. The meet will resume with the pole vault at 9 a.m.
