WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The Bucknell men’s track and field team concluded action at the Colonial Relays Saturday at William & Mary. The Bison tallied 19 points, finishing tied for 18th among 46 schools.
In the sprint medley relay, a team comprised of Will Carter, Bobby Gablein, William Melchionni and Scott Gulizio scored for the Bison with a second-place finish. The group was the runner-up among 21 teams with a time of 3:26.15.
Reggie Harris finished second in the triple jump university with a leap of 45-11 ¼.
“We did not place as high as we had hoped, but our guys fought and clawed for all our points and we had pockets of some very great performances that will fit well in the Patriot League,” said head coach Kevin Donner. “We do need to clean a lot of things up and some guys need to handle adversity better, but overall I feel good about our direction.”
The Bison return to action Apr. 7-8 for two meets. A group will compete at the Sun Devil Invitational, while another will compete at the George Mason Spring Invite.
