CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The No. 18 Bucknell men's water polo team's 11-game winning streak came to an end on the second day of the Harvard Invitational.

The Bison, who topped Wagner (6-5) and No. 15 Brown (6-4) on Saturday to stretch their winning streak into the double digits for only the sixth time in program history, fell to No. 12 St. Francis Brooklyn (10-8) and No. 11 Princeton (12-7) Sunday at Blodgett Pool. With those results, Bucknell moved to 12-8 (7-0 MAWPC) on the season.

Against the Terriers (9-5, 5-0 NEC) in the morning match, Marko Djordjevic (3g), Rade Joksimovic (2g-1a), Cooper Dolan (1g-2a), Jared Stanley (2g) and Tommy Stupp (2a) enjoyed multi-point outings. After Joksimovic found the back of the cage with 3:43 remaining in regulation to draw the Bison within one, Botond Kadar netted a man-advantage strike 35 seconds later to regain St. Francis Brooklyn's two-cushion.

After Kadar's goal, Viktor Klauzer made a pair of saves and Boris Posavec posted a field block to preserve the victory. Klauzer finished with 11 saves while Charlie Niehaus made nine.

Against the Tigers (17-4, 4-1 NWPC) in the afternoon, Djordjevic (2g-3a), Joksimovic (2g), Jeff Hagen (2g) and Dolan (1g-1a) paced Bucknell offensively. Niehaus recorded 12 saves while Joksimovic added four steals.

The teams entered halftime locked in a 5-5 tie after trading goals throughout the first two quarters. The Tigers ultimately outscored the Bison by a 7-2 margin the rest of the way, including 5-1 in the decisive third quarter. Princeton's Matt Payne posted a game-best four goals while Vojislav Mitrovic made 14 saves.

Bucknell next travels to California for five games from Friday, Oct. 20 to Sunday, Oct. 22. The Bison take on perennial water polo power Stanford in Stanford on Oct. 20 at 7 p.m. They then attend the Julian Fraser Memorial Tournament in Santa Clara, Calif., where they'll face California Baptist (4 p.m.) and Loyola Marymount (8 p.m.) on Oct. 21 and Santa Clara (1:20 p.m.) and UC Davis (5:20 p.m.) on Oct. 22.
