LEWISBURG, Pa. – Junior Emily Finn helped the Bucknell field hockey team shut out Colgate in a 3-0 win on the road Saturday, clinching a spot in the Patriot League Tournament for the Bison. On Tuesday, Finn was named the Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week by the league office.

Finn stopped the only shot she faced in the must-win game against the Raiders, registering her third-consecutive shutout. She leads the Patriot League with six shutouts this season and  has not allowed a goal in her last 237:10 minutes of playing time.

Bucknell’s previous shutouts came against Lafayette, also a must-win game, and Lock Haven last weekend.

Finn has been named the Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week three times this season. That ties three former players – Emily Groendyke (2006), Jessie Atieh (2009), and Erica Perrine (2012) – for the most in a single season in program history.

Senior Anna Wills and sophomore Nicole Rupnik were named as Honorable Mentions by the league. Wills scored the game-winning goal against the Raiders, while Rupnik tallied one goal and one assist.

Fourth-seeded Bucknell will play at top-seeded and 14th-ranked Boston University in the semifinal round of the Patriot League Tournament on Friday at 1 p.m.
