LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell’s Stephanie Dressler has been named to the Longstreth/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division I All-Mideast Region Second Team, as announced by the organization on Monday.

Dressler earned a spot on the All-Mideast Region Team for the first time in her career. The senior finished with 11 points on five goals and one assist while also leading a strong defensive effort from her center back position. She led the team with three game-winning goals.

Dressler has earned three postseason awards after her final season with the Bison. She was voted First Team All-Patriot League following the regular season, and then added Patriot League All-Tournament recognition after helping the Bison advance to the championship game.

Bucknell has had 10 players earn all-region accolades during head coach Jeremy Cook’s 10 seasons with the team, including five in the past four seasons.

The Bison finished 10-10 overall in 2017 and made the Patriot League Tournament for a 10th consecutive season. They entered as the third seed and upset second-seeded American in the semifinal before falling to top-seeded Boston University in the title game.
