About Bucknell
-- Bucknell has opened its 2017 season with two consecutive victories. It defeated Robert Morris 11-10 in the first game of the season, and earned the 10-6 victory over Villanova last weekend.

-- Junior Eve Lukowski paced the Bison attack versus Villanova, scoring a career-high five goals against the Wildcats.

-- Maddy Molinari and Audrey Walsh added two goals and two assists each, while Jamie DeWitt earned her second victory in net while making eight saves.

-- Walsh (10) and Lukowski (7) lead Bucknell in points early in the season. Ten different Bison have scored a goal thus far.

-- The Bison earned their 200th all-time victory in program history in the opening win of the season over Robert Morris.

-- It has been a tale of two halves through two matches for the Bison. They have outscored opponents 17-5 in the first half, while opponents have held an 11-4 margin in the second half over the Bison.

-- Bucknell will look to extend its strong play at home, having won five of its past seven contests at Graham Field.

-- Last year, Bucknell reached double figures in victories for the third time in program history and qualified for the Patriot League Tournament for the first time since 2009. The Bison return seven regular starters, the team’s top two point scorers, two All-Patriot League defenders and last year’s starting goalie from a squad that posted an eight-win improvement from the previous season.

-- Head coach Randall Swope is just three victories shy of tying Barb Jordan’s program record for wins by a coach.

Scouting Hofstra
-- This will be the first game of the season for Hofstra. The Pride were 3-13 overall and 1-5 in the Colonial Athletic Association last spring.

-- Bucknell is the first Patriot League opponent for Hofstra since it defeated Colgate 10-8 in 2013.

-- The Pride lost their most talented offensive weapon from last season in graduate student Lindsay Scott, who scored 52 goals in 15 games. The squad’s next-highest leading scorer tallied 18 goals.

Series History with Hofstra
-- Bucknell is 5-8 all-time against Hofstra, dating back to 1983.

-- This will be the first matchup between these two teams since the 1995 season.

-- Hofstra has won the past seven meetings against the Bison, five of which have been decided by at least four goals.

-- The Bison last defeated the Pride in 1988, a 7-6 home victory.

Up Next
-- Bucknell will play in its first mid-week game of the season when it travels to New Jersey to take on Monmouth. The game will be held on Wednesday, February 22 at 6 p.m.
