About Bucknell
-- After picking up a pair of victories in the first two games of the 2017 season, Bucknell sits at 2-1 after a 15-5 loss in its most recent contest against Hofstra.

-- Sarah Galzerano scored the first goal of the game against Hofstra, but seven straight goals by the Pride gave them the early edge. The Bison brought the score back to 10-5 in the second half, but could not rally in the final minutes.

-- Maddy Molinari led the team with two goals scored, while Katherine Doyle and Jessie Britton caused two turnovers each.

-- Audrey Walsh leads the team with eight assists through three games, while Eve Lukowski paces the Bison with seven goals. Walsh ranks third in the Patriot League in assists per game (2.67), and Molinari ranks third in draw controls per game (5.0).

-- The Bison earned their 200th all-time victory in program history in the opening victory of the season.

-- It has been a tale of two halves for the Bison. They have outscored opponents 20-13 in the first half, while opponents have held an 18-6 margin in the second half over the Bison. Opponents have made just four first-half saves through the first three contests.

Scouting Monmouth
-- Monmouth is 1-2 to start the 2017 season. It defeated George Washington (16-15) before falling to Temple (18-16) and Rutgers (12-11)

-- This will be the first home game of the season for Monmouth.

-- All three contests for the Hawks have been decided by three goals or less, including two one-goal games.

-- Monmouth has showed some offensive strength this season, averaging 14.3 goals per game. But the Hawks have allowed 15.0 goals per game. 

-- Nicole Ceraso already has 10 goals and 10 assists for the Hawks. Olivia Higson has 10 goals and three assists. 

 

Series History with Monmouth
-- Bucknell is 3-5 all-time against Monmouth, dating back to 1996.

-- Before last season’s matchup, these two teams had not met since 2002.

-- The Hawks have won five of the past six meetings, limiting the Bison to six goals or less in four of those losses.

-- Last season, Bucknell dropped a 17-16 affair at Graham Field. The 33 goals tied for the most goals in a game for the entire season.

 

Scouting Wagner
-- Wagner is 0-1 after losing to Iona last week in a 12-10 game.

-- Iona scored the first five goals of the contest. Wagner rallied for seven of the final nine goals, but could not score in the final 6:46 of the second half to tie the game up.

-- Anna Belle Reilly led the Seahawks with four goals against Iona after appearing in just six games a year ago.

-- Senior defender Amanda Rey is the only returning player to have started all 19 games last season for Wagner.

 

Series History with Wagner
-- Bucknell is 8-3 all-time against Wagner, dating back to 2002.

-- After playing each other every year from 2002 to 2010, the two teams returned to the field against one another in 2015 and 2016. The Bison won meetings the past two seasons by a combined three goals.

-- Last season, Bucknell won 6-5, with Lukowski, Molinari, and Mary Margaret Kenney picking up goals. The 11 combined goals scored was the fewest in a game for the Bison since they defeated American 6-4 in 2009.
