-- Bucknell sits at 4-1 overall after a 16-6 win over Wagner. The last time Bucknell won four of its first five games was in 2009. With a win on Saturday, the Bison would have their best six-game start since 1997.
-- Annie Gilbertson had a career-day against Wagner, breaking the program record for caused turnovers with eight. She now has 16 on the season and 63 in her career (sixth-most in school history). Gilbertson was named Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week on Monday.
-- Offensively, Maddy Molinari tied a career high with five goals to go with seven draw controls, while Eve Lukowski recorded seven points off of two goals and five assists. Nine different Bison scored a goal on the day. Molinari, who had three goals and eight DCs in a win over Monmouth earlier in the week, was named Patriot League Midfielder of the Week for the second time this season.
-- The Bison have loved to share the ball this year, recording 39 assists on the 56 goals scored through five games. Christina Manis and Audrey Walsh have been huge proponents of that, as the duo lead the team with 11 assists each.
-- It has been a tale of two halves for the Bison. They have outscored opponents 35-20 in the first half, while opponents have held a 27-21 margin in the second half over the Bison. Opponents have made just seven first-half saves through five contests.
-- The Bison have a stellar .509 team shooting percentage on the season. Reserve attacker Bridget Shaffrey has scored five goals on seven shots, and five other regulars are converting at a 50-percent clip or better.
-- Several Bison can be found at the top of the conference and national rankings. Walsh and Manis both have the most assists in the Patriot League, Molinari is first in the conference in ground balls, and Gilbertson ranks second in the nation in caused turnovers.
-- Molinari moved into a tie for 10th on Bucknell’s all-time points list with 129 in her career. Manis also improved her career assist total to 70, which is eight shy of Carol Donohue’s school record.
