In August 2010, Bucknell University and Nelligan Sports Marketing (NSM) agreed to a multi-year deal allowing NSM to manage Bucknell's athletic marketing rights. As part of the new enterprise, NSM will be partnering with the University on a fully integrated relationship that extends beyond the competition venues.
Bucknell Director of Athletics John Hardt commented, "We are excited about our new partnership with NSM and taking this next step in the continued development of our corporate partnering initiatives. The company's expertise in cultivating and maximizing business relationships on a local, regional and national level, combined with its track record in fostering new revenue sources for multiple campus initiatives, make them a welcome fit for Bison Athletics."
"Bucknell University represents a standard of excellence that can deliver tremendous value to the corporate sector on a local, regional and national basis," said Mike Palisi, Executive Vice President of NSM. "With a comprehensive approach that will leverage the visibility of the athletic program, the value of strategic relationships with the University and the loyalty and affinity of the audience that Bucknell delivers, we will develop a program that delivers critical resources for the University and return for corporate partners."
