Jamie Lavis comes to Bucknell's Athletic Training staff from Bluefield College, where she was the head athletic trainer and instructor for the last two years. She was responsible for providing athletic training services for all 13 of Bluefield's sports. Additionally, she developed class plans for three one-credit fitness courses taught at the Greater Bluefield Community Center. Lavis graduated from California University of Pennsylvania in May 2006 with a degree in athletic training. One year later she earned her master's degree in athletic training from the same school. She posted a 3.75 undergraduate GPA and a 4.0 graduate GPA. Following graduate school, Lavis worked at NovaCare Rehabilitation performing physical therapy and as the head athletic trainer at Fort Cherry High School. | |||||||
