Athletically, our women's rowing program provides one of the most balanced and exciting opportunities available in college athletics. We do quite a bit of sculling during the fall season and our fall schedule is unique in regards to its flexibility, designed to encourage a balanced lifestyle uncommon in Division I athletics. In the classroom, our team is always top two GPA's of 27 varsity sports at Bucknell. Our first-year rowers and coxswains have recently achieved a GPA of 3.67 putting them ahead of almost any group of freshman student-athletes in the country. We are seven-time Patriot League Champions, three-time ECAC Northeast/Mid-Atlantic Regional Champions and in 2007 our lightweights were the IRA National Champions. We compete every four years in England at the Henley Women's Regatta and Bucknell alumni rowers have also gone on to compete at the World Championships and the Olympics. We have a very ambitious program, but we always keep things in perspective. Academics will always be your top priority, you can go abroad in your junior year, and you will have a whole lot of fun as a member of one the most dynamic rowing programs in the country. We look forward to meeting you in the near future.
