2000: After taking a pitch in the face on the team’s Florida trip and missing about a half dozen games following surgery, Eiben returned to bat .320 with three home runs and 26 RBIs ... he had nine doubles and three triples, and stole 11 bases in 12 attempts ... tied school record with two home runs vs. Army (4/29) ... raised his average 39 points over the last eight games of the season with 14 hits in 33 at-bats. 1999: All-Patriot League Second Team outfielder ... after not playing baseball because of spring football practice as a freshman, Eiben joined the team and became an immediate offensive weapon ... ranked second on the team and fifth in the league with a .378 average ... played in 47 games, starting 46 ... ranked third on the squad and sixth in the league with 12 doubles ... drove in 19 runs, and led the team and the conference with 24 (of 26) stolen bases ... struck out just 12 times in 164 at-bats ... in Patriot League games batted .449 and had a .541 on-base percentage.
