Bucknell Baseball Summer Update

LEWISBURG, Pa. –Bucknell baseball players are constantly practicing, improving and honing their skills during the school year. As is the case every year, a number of Bison are also using their time away from Bucknell to continue their development by playing organized baseball in various summer leagues. No fewer than 17 returning Bucknell players are members of teams in various leagues stretching from New England to Maryland to South Carolina to California. “I am impressed with the number of guys we have playing this summer,” said head coach Scott Heather, who was promoted last month after eight years as an assistant. “Summer is a crucial time for development and their experiences will only help our team this coming season.” Bison Playing in Summer Baseball Leagues: Travis Clark (Orange County Pioneers - California Collegiate League) Damon Frezza (Rockville Storm – Maryland Collegiate Baseball League)
