LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The Bucknell men's basketball team will be hosting its annual Coaches vs. Cancer Night this Saturday, Jan. 19 against Lafayette. Coaches vs. Cancer is a national event that is run by the American Cancer Society as well as the National Association of Basketball Coaches to help raise funds for research and cancer awareness.

Bucknell student-athletes, coaches and volunteers will be selling Coaches vs. Cancer merchandise on Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. in the Elaine Langone Center Mall, and again on Saturday at Sojka Pavilion prior to the Bucknell-Lafayette game. The team will be selling tee shirts, wristbands, lanyards and Wall of Hope certificates, and donation cards will also be available. All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society.

In addition, both coaching staffs will be wearing sneakers with their suits during the game. The Bucknell men's basketball program is asking that fans wear sneakers to the game to help join the cause.

For more information regarding the event or for donations, please contact manager of basketball operations Nick Leonardelli at npl002@bucknell.edu.

Bucknell Men's Basketball looks forward to your support for the team and Coaches vs. Cancer.
