UPPER MARLBORO, Md. -- Bucknell's men's and women's basketball teams are both one victory away from a date in the Patriot League championship game. Both squads face top-seeded Holy Cross Sunday at The Show Place Arena in the semifinals, and both games will be televised live nationally on DirecTV (Channel 611).

The fourth-seeded Bison women, coming off a thrilling 79-69 overtime victory over Navy on Friday, face Holy Cross at noon Sunday. Bob Socci and Jody Lavin-Patrick will call the action on the DirecTV broadcast.

Bucknell's men, seeded No. 5, will face 24-4 Holy Cross at 5 p.m Sunday evening. Socci and noted author John Feinstein will describe the action to the nationwide television audience.

Both Bucknell teams overcame double-digit deficits in the second half to pull our opening-round victories. The women trailed by 14 points with just under five minutes to play before a furious rally was capped by Molly Creamer's game-tying 3-pointer just before the final buzzer of regulation. The Bison men trailed Lehigh by 10 early in the second half, but a 25-6 run sent them to the semifinals for the 10th time in 13 years of Patriot League Tournament play.
